課程概述 |
1.本課程使用的教材為《實用視聽華語二》 (第八課~第十三課)，希望能提高並鞏固學生運用「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，學習生活語言外的常用詞彙與文法，並能得體使用華語與人溝通、討論，期望學生也能透過課程，進一步了解華語及台灣文化。
This course is constructed around the textbook Practical Audio-Visual Chinese II (Lesson 8-13), and is aiming to improve and consolidate students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Besides the four skills, this course would also love to provide a perspective on Taiwanese culture regarding the subject the textbook mentions.
2.本課程授課語言以中文為主,英文為輔。
The class will be taught in Mandarin, with minimum English only when necessary.

課程目標 |
1. 使學生掌握課本生詞語法並能主動使用。
To help students have a good command on the vocabulary and grammar patterns in the textbook, and can use them idiomatically as active linguistic knowledge.
2.聽、說兩項能力能達到各課標準。
Listening and speaking ability reach the level required.
3.學生能讀、寫正體字。
Know how to read and write traditional Chinese characters.

課程要求 |
1. 上課可以喝水、飲料，但不可吃東西、吸煙。
Water or other beverages are allowed, but please do not eat or smoke in class.
2. 除老師要求外，上課請勿使用手機、電腦做其他用途。請關靜音。
Except when asked by the teacher for class activities, please do not use cell phone, computer or other digital devices for other purposes in class.
3. 上課只說中文。
Please use only Chinese in class.
4. 上課請專心積極參與，請勿進行其他與課程無關之活動。
Please pay full attention and participate in class activities. Please do not engage in other personal tasks in class.
5. 上課請尊重他人立場、想法，以及發言時間與機會的公平性。
Please respect everyone’s viewpoints and opinions, as well as the rights to have equal chances and time to speak.
6. 按時繳交作業。遲交的作業不收。
Hand in assignments on time. Late submission will not be accepted.
以上行為屬平時表現，經老師警告三次後，第四次開始扣分。每次每項1分。
All mentioned above are items evaluated under the category of “average performances”, and any violation will be warned by the teacher in person. After the third offence, One point will be taken out of “average performances” for every offence starting the forth one. |

平時小考成績quiz+Chapter test |

隨堂預習聽寫選擇較高20次計算，佔「小考」35%。 There will be a preview dictation quiz almost every class. The highest 20 quizzes will be calculated into the final grades. *單課小考共六次，每人只有二次補考機會，而且須在一週內完成補考。若無法參加考試，請事先以電子郵件通知老師，如未事先通知則失去補考機會。佔「小考」65% There will be 6 chapter tests in total this semester. Every student has two chances to take a makeup test if absent. Students have to inform the teacher via Email before the test about being absent and the need to take the makeup test, otherwise will lose the right to take the test. The makeup test has to be taken within a week. |

作業務必準時繳交，遲交超過三天以後不收。 Please submit homework on time. Homework handed in after three days will not be graded. *每一課最後都要請三到四位同學演講，每個人都要演講三次，每次3-5分鐘。 For every Lesson, 3 to 4 students have to give a 3-to-5-minute speech. Every student should give 3 speeches before the semester ends. |

出席及平時表現成績Attendance+Average performances |
15% |
上課遲到、早退超過20分鐘，該節課以缺席計。缺席第四節起，每節扣出席與平時表現的成績1分。無法出席時應事先以電子郵件知會老師，如未事先通知，不論缺席時數，皆另外扣0.5分。 Arriving late or leaving early for more than 20 minutes will be regarded as being absent for the class hour (50 minutes). Starting the 4th class hour, one point will be deducted from the “attendance”. Please inform the teacher via Email in advance about not being able to attend classes. Failing to do so will cost another 0.5 from the attendance regardless of the accumulated amount of absent hours.
